Highlights - S/S 10 Melbourne Fashion 2

Here are some of my favourites from the show, I've got more sketches and doodles coming, but so far, local Aussie designers have this to present to the Australian public!


I absolutely loved this vest for Ginger&Smart, the back was just as awesome. Plaited back, also in that so fabulously slightly rastafarian black and white stripes.

I loved this from Kirilly Johnston. The colours were great, and though the fabric seemed so sheer, it hugged in all the right places.

I've probably seen this time and time again, but I love that metal on black look. And this particular one with the juxtopised zipper down the middle of a slouchy all black cardigan did it for me. I'm going to invest in one.



Kind of Sass&Bide-ish no? Still, the body jewellery inspired piece, possibly picked up by the designers over the past year from the all out fashion trend from Erin Wasson-cum-other jewellery designer. Still good. Those pants, if I could have just taken a better look at them!

CDG 09' boys in skirts, despite something so feminine, it feels so regal and nonchalent to me. sexxy

Lanvin, oh the colours! I could totally see Alber wearing these colours. Don't they remind you of a washed out 50's movie colour palette?
AND!!! The sexiest boys of all... must be either from D&G. Suave, sexy, sophisticated. The type of boy who you know will order you a drink that will complement your outfit, and knock you out by the end of the night. The boy with the commanding look that speaks volumes and will whisper sexy sweet nothings in your ear. ARGH. I'm such a romantic.

And MMM! oh me oh my, how did crystal balls and shiny pants ever become so sexy? Maybe because they appear on mature unshaven men with prominent noses.


By far, MMM and D&G stood out for me the most.
