But not everything was still.
After a very long hiatus, C is back, and ever so excited to give you some news and some images.
So I got accepted into Fashion Design at RMIT! YESSSS, the travel tickets are still booked, and in exactly... 37 minutes it is officially Christmas (Happy birthday Jesus!) and exactly.. two days until I turn 22 years old. Excited!
So much excitement! But not too much to present to you; Rosemary, or... Mia Farrow as Rosemary in the 70's thriller.
Sexy, sweet, waif-like and most of all, innocently talented compared to the smattering of witty actresses from her era; Diane Keaton, Brigitte Bardot, Elizabeth Taylor, Francoise Hardy.. etc. What a breath of fresh air right.
Despite watching this movie over a few weeks ago, it has left me a rather nostalgic impression.
From her little empire waist dresses, tiffany blue night gown and pixie 'vidal sassoon' hairdo, to her apartment.. I've been. lets say.. more than a little obsessed.
So here are some images.. and I would greatly encourage any fashionista's out there to check it out.. and..

Luxury basics- The Row
It seems to me that the influx of actor-cum-designer-turn-singer 'slashies' continues to rise, such as Beyonce's House of Dereon, Hilary Duff, Sean P.Diddy Combs, Gwen Stefani, and even a few of the girls from The Hills, etc, but none has been so anticipated as that of the Olsen twin's luxury high end launch of 'The Row'. Despite all the hype, the cult status of both olsen twins- both good and bad, he success of how their pieces will depend on, I personally believe, the styling of the outfit and their marketing strategy. Without the right connections, sponsers, parties, fluff and sparkle, and don't forget the publicity, it may as well be overlooked by the majority of the population who still percieve them as the tweens who grew up on Full House.
The success of their sales will ultimately depend on their cult status. Luckily they've got enough $$ cha-ching to do enough marketing to outdo even Barack Obama's last minute $$$ promotional video (by all means, battle it out to the last minute).
My opinion? I like. Now it all depends on the price point and availability of their products in Australia. I know for a fact I'd be paying for just the brand, because quality wise- I can get anywhere here in Australia for a much cheaper price. Come on girls! Have a price point difference for us Aussie chicks looking for a bit of Hollywood glam!
